One cookie keeps you signed in. Google Analytics, PostHog and Sentry help us see what is used and what breaks. A few settings are remembered on your device. No advertising cookies.

1. Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Shep also uses your browser’s local storage to remember a few settings on your device. This page lists both.
2. Essential
Shep cannot work without these, so they cannot be switched off.

3. Preferences stored on your device
These are stored only in your browser. When you use the feature they belong to, such as sharing a post, the choice you make is sent to Shep as part of that action.

We use these to improve Shep, not to advertise. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let advertisers place cookies through Shep.
5. Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
- Most browsers let you send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal; you can also use a content blocker. PostHog stops when your browser sends Do Not Track.
