Our story

Built inside a local church, for local churches.

Shep started at C3 Robina on the Gold Coast, from a simple question every church team asks: how do we make sure nobody slips through the cracks?

Why Shep exists

The name says it.

Shep is short for shepherd. Jesus described himself as the shepherd who knows his sheep by name and goes after the one who wanders. Every church wants to shepherd like that. But as a church grows, it gets harder to know where everyone is, and easier for people to drift without anyone noticing.

Church databases are good at attendance and rosters. They weren’t built to help a team walk with people. So the real picture ends up in group chats, spreadsheets and a pastor’s memory.

We built Shep to give the whole team one shared picture, and to give every person in the church a part in their own growth.

What we believe

The convictions behind the product.

  • Discipleship happens in relationship.

People grow when someone walks with them. Software can’t do that, but it can make sure nobody is forgotten.

  • People aren’t a pipeline.

We don’t talk about funnels, conversion or engagement. We talk about people, conversations and next steps.

  • Discipleship is something people take part in.

Everyone should be able to see their own path, not just have it recorded about them.

  • Trust comes first.

What someone shares with a leader stays with the people it belongs to. That’s built into how Shep works.

Founder · C3 Robina, Gold Coast

Shep is built and tested week to week at C3 Robina, alongside the leaders who use it. We’re now opening it to a small group of founding churches in Australia and New Zealand who want to shape what comes next.

Help us build what your church needs.

Founding churches get early access, a direct line to the team, and a real say in the roadmap.
